WINTAROS
Offshore Staffing

Offshore teams, built to stay.

Wintaros recruits, trains and manages full-time offshore staff for companies building teams abroad. People who work to your standard, without you running recruitment and HR in another country.

The Wintaros office floor: team members at desks in a bright open-plan office, with the words ‘Offshore teams, built to stay.’ painted on the wall.
  • EmploymentFull-time staff, employed through our own local operation
  • ApprovalYou interview and approve every hire
  • ManagementLocal management on the ground, one point of contact
  • HoursOur teams work on UTC+5. Hours agreed per engagement
What we do

Four parts of one job: building a team that lasts.

Most staffing stops at the hire. We stay responsible for the team after it.

01

Recruitment

Candidates screened against a standard agreed with you first. You interview and approve every hire.

  • Role defined up front
  • Structured screening, the same for every candidate
  • You make the final decision
02

Onboarding and culture

New staff join a team with a defined identity, not an anonymous desk. Belonging is what makes people stay.

  • Structured first weeks
  • A shared standard from day one
  • A team, not an isolated remote seat
03

Retention

Keeping good people is where offshore arrangements usually fail. We give staff reasons to stay.

  • Visible progression
  • Development after induction ends
  • Local leadership staff can reach
04

Day-to-day management

We handle attendance, performance, HR and the everyday friction of a team in another country. You direct the work.

  • Local management on the ground
  • Employment and HR administration handled
  • One point of contact for the whole team
Why this matters

The expensive part of hiring overseas is not the hiring.

It is the second year. A team member who leaves takes the context with them: the product knowledge, the customer history, the shortcuts nobody wrote down. You recruit again, train again, and absorb the gap.

That is why retention is part of the service, not an afterthought. A team that stays compounds in value. A team that churns resets to zero, at your expense.

What a team keeps when it stays.
How it works

From first conversation to a working team.

  1. Tell us what you need

The roles, the skills that matter, and how the team will work with yours. If we are not the right fit, we say so here.

  2. We recruit and screen

We run the search and the interviews against the agreed standard. You see a shortlist, not a pile of CVs.

  3. You interview and decide

You meet the shortlist and approve every person who joins.

  4. We run the team

Onboarding, local management, development and HR are ours. Direction of the work stays yours.

What every new team member receives.
The standard

Six things every Wintaros team is held to.

What we hire for, what we train against, and what we measure our own teams by.

  • Bold

We take courageous ownership and act with conviction.

  • United

We win together with trust, respect and teamwork.

  • Loyal

We stand by our people and our commitments.

  • Exclusive

We set high standards and build for those who belong.

  • Proud

We take pride in our work, our people and where we come from.

  • Enduring

We build for the long run with discipline and consistency.

Fit

Who we work well with — and who we don't.

We would rather tell you now than three months in.

A good fit if

  • You want permanent, full-time people rather than short contracts
  • You are building a team you expect to keep for years
  • You want local management handling the day-to-day
  • You can define what good work looks like in the role
  • You want to interview and approve every hire yourself

Not a fit if

  • You need freelancers for a one-off project
  • You want the cheapest hourly rate above all else
  • You need people working entirely outside our regions
  • You want someone this week with no scoping
  • You would rather manage every detail yourself with no local support
What we commit to

Four things we hold ourselves to.

Not aspirations. The terms we work on, from the first conversation.

  • You approve every hire

We shortlist. The decision is yours.

  • We say so when we are not the right fit

At scoping, before you have committed anything.

  • Your team has local management

Someone on the ground who notices a problem before it becomes a resignation.

  • The boundaries are written down

What we handle and what stays with you is agreed before anyone starts.

Tell us what you're trying to build.

Send us the roles you need and how your team works. We will tell you plainly whether we can help.

What we are

A staffing company that stays responsible after the hire.

Companies come to us to grow a team in another country without building a recruitment and HR function to support it. We take that side on, from sourcing to local management. You direct the work.

We are not a CV service and not a marketplace. We build teams meant to last, and we stay accountable for them once they are running.

The working floor.
The name

Wintaros = Win + Tharros.

Win

Victory through effort

To succeed through commitment, effort and collective drive. When the team wins, every member wins.

Tharros

θáρρος — the courageous ones

From the ancient Greek for courage and the will to endure: the steadiness of people who meet difficulty and choose to stay.

Together

Said “Win-TAR-oss”

Those who win through courage. A name for a group, not a job title: staff do not simply work at Wintaros, they are Wintaros, and membership is earned.

The mark

Two diamonds, one idea.

The outer green diamond is belonging, structure and a standard upheld as one force: the frame every Wintaros team works inside.

The inner copper diamond is the individual at the centre: courage, and pride that has been earned.

The standard

Six things we hire for and hold teams to.

Identity

The colours mean something too.

Each was chosen for a reason and used the same way everywhere the brand appears.

  • EvergreenTrust, stability, identity and leadership.
  • CopperCourage, earned pride and human strength.
  • Warm IvoryClarity, warmth and belonging.
  • SandstoneGrounded support, balance and calm.
  • CharcoalDepth, focus and professionalism.
Where we operate

Our operations are rooted in one place.

That is where we recruit, where our teams work and where our local management sits. Building in one place keeps the standard consistent and keeps us close enough to the people we hire to retain them.

Our teams work on UTC+5, so a standard working day covers the whole UK and European afternoon. It does not overlap a standard US east coast day, so for US clients we shift the team’s hours rather than pretend otherwise.

Thinking about building a team abroad?

Tell us the roles and how your team works. We will tell you plainly whether we are the right fit.

What we do

The four parts, and what each one includes.

Recruitment

We start by agreeing what good looks like in the role: the work, the standard, and what would make someone wrong for it. Then we search against that definition, not a job title. We would rather send you three people we would stand behind than thirty.

  • Role and standard defined with you before the search begins
  • Sourcing through our own local networks
  • Structured screening, identical for every candidate
  • A shortlist with our reasoning, not a stack of CVs
  • You interview and approve every hire

The same screening for every candidate.

Onboarding and culture

Someone's first fortnight decides how long they stay. We bring people into a team with a defined identity and an explicit standard, rather than handing them a login and hoping.

  • Structured onboarding, not ad-hoc induction
  • The Wintaros standard set out from day one
  • Introduction into a team, not an isolated remote seat
  • Working practices aligned with how your team operates

The first two weeks, set out in advance.

Retention

Good people leave for predictable reasons: no visible progression, no recognition, no sense of belonging, and no one local who notices when something is wrong. We work on all four.

  • Clear progression rather than vague promises
  • Ongoing development after induction ends
  • Recognition tied to the standard we hire against
  • Local leadership your team can reach
A team lead standing and speaking to three seated colleagues in a meeting room, beside a whiteboard headed ‘Team priorities’.
Progression as an ordinary fact of the workplace.

Day-to-day management

A team in another country creates a steady stream of small work: attendance, performance conversations, HR matters, equipment, local holidays. We absorb that. You keep control of what gets done, to what standard and in what order.

  • Local management on the ground
  • Employment and HR administration handled
  • Performance managed against the agreed standard
  • One point of contact for the whole team

Management on the floor, not behind glass.
How an engagement runs

Scoping, search, decision, operation.

The sequence is the same every time. What changes is the role definition we build it around.

  1. Scoping

The roles, the skills, how the team connects to yours, and the working overlap. If we are not right for it, this is where we say so.

  2. Search and screening

We source and interview against the agreed standard, then present a shortlist with our assessment of each candidate.

  3. Your decision

You interview the shortlist and approve who joins. If none are right, we go back out.

  4. Onboarding

We bring people in properly and align them with how your team works.

  5. Ongoing operation

We manage the team locally, keep developing people, and stay reachable for as long as the engagement runs.

Scope

What's ours and what stays yours.

Ambiguity here is where offshore arrangements go wrong, so we set it out before anyone starts.

We handle

  • Sourcing and screening candidates
  • Structured onboarding
  • Employment and HR administration
  • Local day-to-day management
  • Development and progression
  • Retention and team culture

You keep

  • The final decision on every hire
  • Direction of the work and priorities
  • Standards for output and quality
  • Your tools, systems and processes
  • Ownership of the work produced
  • The decision to grow or wind down the team
Questions

What buyers ask us first.

Who employs the staff?

Staff are recruited and employed through our own local operation. Employment and HR administration sit with us, so you are not setting up an entity or managing local employment yourself.

Who manages the team day to day?

We provide local management for attendance, performance, development and HR. You direct the work: priorities, standards and output. Where the line sits is agreed before anyone starts.

Do I choose who joins my team?

Yes. We run the search and the screening and present a shortlist. You interview and approve every person who joins your team.

What happens if someone is not working out?

Raise it with us early. We look at whether it is a fit problem, a clarity problem or a management problem and act accordingly. Where the right answer is a replacement, we run that search. The specific terms are set out in your engagement agreement.

What roles do you staff?

Permanent, full-time roles across ongoing business functions. The useful question is whether the work can be done well from another country with the overlap your team needs. Describe the role and we will tell you directly.

What does it cost?

Cost depends on the roles, the seniority and the size of the team, so we quote per engagement after scoping. We do not publish a rate card, because a rate without a role definition is not useful information.

How do you handle confidentiality and data security?

Confidentiality and data handling terms are set out in your engagement agreement. Raise specific security or compliance requirements during scoping and we will tell you plainly whether we can meet them. We do not claim certifications we do not hold.

What time zone do your teams work in?

Our teams work on UTC+5. A standard 09:00–17:00 day covers the whole UK and European afternoon. It does not overlap a standard US east coast day, so for US teams we shift working hours rather than pretend otherwise. Hours are agreed per engagement.

Something not answered here? Ask us directly.

Send us the roles you need filled.

Tell us what the work involves and how your team runs. We will tell you whether we can staff it, plainly.

Message us on LinkedIn

We keep conversations there rather than routing them through a form. It is quicker, and you can see who you are talking to.

Wintaros on LinkedIn

What to include

You will get a more useful reply if your first message covers:

  • The roles you are looking to fill
  • What the work involves day to day
  • How many people you have in mind
  • The working hours or overlap you need

Still deciding whether offshore hiring is right for you at all? Say that instead. We will give you a straight answer rather than a pitch.

What happens next

Someone from our team reads your message and replies with questions about the role and how your team works. If we are a good fit, we move to scoping. If we are not, we tell you, and where we can, point you at what would suit you better.

Looking for work rather than hiring?

We hire for our own teams too. Follow us on LinkedIn, where roles are posted when they open.

Information we collect through this website

We do not collect personal information directly through this website. There is nowhere on the site to submit your name, email address, telephone number or any other personal detail to us.

Server logs

Like most websites, this site is served by a hosting provider that may automatically record standard technical information as part of delivering pages — typically the requesting IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and the browser and operating system reported by your device. This is ordinary server operation, is used for security and reliability, and is not used by us to identify individual visitors.

Cookies

We do not set cookies on this website. We do not use analytics, advertising, retargeting or social media tracking pixels. Because no tracking that requires consent is in place, you will not see a cookie consent banner here.

Third-party services used by this website

Web fonts

Typefaces are served from this website's own domain rather than from a third-party font service. Loading a page here does not send a request to Google Fonts or any other font provider, so no third party receives your IP address as a result of the site's typography.

Hosting

The site is delivered by a hosting provider that processes technical request data on our behalf in order to serve the site to you, as described under Server logs above. Apart from that provider, this website makes no requests to third-party servers.

Contacting us

We ask people to contact us through our LinkedIn page. If you send us a message there, that message and your LinkedIn profile information are processed by LinkedIn under LinkedIn's own terms and privacy policy, and are visible to us through our LinkedIn account. We use what you send us to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss working together. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing.

If you contact us about a role, we use the information you provide to assess your application and to communicate with you about it.

SMS and text messaging

We do not operate an SMS or text messaging programme through this website. There is no SMS sign-up on this site, we do not collect phone numbers here, and we do not send marketing text messages to visitors. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any such programme begins, and any consent collected for messaging would be used only for the messaging described at the point of sign-up. Consent information of that kind is never sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

This site links to LinkedIn. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites, and we recommend reading the privacy policy of any site you visit from here.

How we protect information

We take reasonable steps to protect information we hold, including limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information sent to us over the internet or through third-party platforms.

How long we keep information

Messages you send us are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to maintain a record of our correspondence, after which they are deleted or archived. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period in the ordinary course of its operations.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal information we hold about you — including the right to ask what we hold, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to certain uses. Because this website collects nothing directly, any such request will usually relate to correspondence you have sent us. Contact us through our LinkedIn page and we will respond.

You can control cookies and site data generally through your browser settings, and you can prevent font requests to third parties using browser extensions or privacy settings, though this may affect how the site displays.
